|Last month me and P drew our very own city on huge flip-chart paper|
...in no particular order...
The beautiful book House Held Up by Trees written by Ted Kooser and illustrated by Jon Klassen which I have just read. This moving story keeps resonating and, of course, I love the tree imagery.
Planning JJ's 1st birthday which is in two months. Oh, how time does fly.
And on that topic trying to work out how best to capture and remember my children's childhood, family life and motherhood...been looking at the wonderful Elevate the Everyday: A Photographic Guide to Picturing Motherhood. This book deserves a whole blog post...coming soon.
Also, been thinking about compiling a sort of folder of kid's activities for times when we're stuck for ideas. Any tips?
Oh, and confession time. Feeling a little guilty that I haven't completely stuck to the 'buy nothing new' thing but I am trying really, really hard, I promise!
And lastly, planning on doing something BIG with my artwork next year...
That's all :)
