Paper love

Before I forget, I wanted to update you on the International Paper Love Swap which I participated in. Below is the paper package I got from my swap partner, the lovely Jeannine from Saylor Made blog. This post by Jeannine shows a bit more of what she received in my little package...

So many possibilities for creation with these lovely paper pieces...

The other thing I wanted to show are these old library borrowing cards, which I remember from back in the day but my own kids probably won't be able to get their heads around. A record-keeping system that's not electronic? Huh?

A few weeks ago when I was compiling my two-week Etsy series I stumbled across this amazingly nerdy Etsy shop which is right up my alley. The seller is an ex-librarian and had for sale a bunch of these old borrowing cards. I don't really know why but I had to have them! The earliest borrowing date on one of the cards is in 1945! I plan to make some art with them - I only have a vague vision at the moment but I will keep you updated once I work it out and start on something...
