So I decided to participate in the
Covert Robin mystery handmade gift swap, which at first seemed like a deluded idea seeing as I like craft, but I definitely can't sew. Okay, I can sew a button on -
just. And at first I thought you might have to make something, like, with a needle and thread or a sewing machine and if that was the case I was going to pass because whatever I made would look like my toddler did it, which would be sweet if she did but not so sweet coming from a grown-up.
But then I checked with
Rachael and she said that an illustration would be a totally acceptable gift. Yay! Because I really wanted to be involved. I love snail-mail and I also love the idea of making something very special for a complete stranger! Oh, I hope she likes it! Here's part of it:
It will be finished by the end of the week and then I'll send it on its way to the U.S of A! Hooray!
